Playing covers from the likes of Bad Manners, The Specials, Madness, Dave & Ansel Colins, The Toasters, UB40 and many others. All played with pride to a very high standard of musicianship.
The band consits of 2 Vocalists, Bass Guitar, Guitar, Drums, Keyboards and a three piece Brass section named "The Sally Bash Brass" comprising of Trombone and two Sax's.
We have a top of the range 9k PA system & lights. We are based in Whitley Bay and with well over 100 years of music experience between us we are starting to establish ourselves with a very good fan base. We have also skanked up some old classic tunes to our own style wich really seems to work with the audience. Over the years many of us have played with many bands of different styles of music including Ska bands, Punk bands, Club bands, Cabaret & Showbands, all pro musicians dedicated to playing good music 100% live. We got together about a year or so ago now to try and do something a little bit different from the bands that are doing 2 Tone, although we do a few 2 Tone tracks we are aiming to do more of the original Trojan Ska.
